1. Who we are
This website is operated by Kyt Systems (“Kyt Systems”, “we”, “us”), a software development business based in South Africa and owned by Daryl N. Mackyta.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the project enquiry form we receive the information you choose to provide:
- your full name and email address (required);
- your company name and phone number (optional);
- the type of project and your preferred timeline (the timeline is optional);
- your project description; and
- confirmation that you have read this policy.
Please do not include sensitive personal information, passwords or financial details in the form.
Information collected automatically
- IP address: when you submit the form, your IP address is used temporarily in server memory to limit repeated submissions and prevent abuse. It is not stored in a database or added to your enquiry email.
- Server logs: our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time) for security and reliability. Our hosting provider is xneelo (South Africa), and these logs are kept only for a limited period in line with its policies.
- Visitor statistics: we may look at summary statistics produced from these server logs, such as how many visits each page receives and which countries visitors come from. We use these only to understand how the website is used, not to identify you.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from our own servers. If this changes, we will update this policy first.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss your project;
- prepare a proposal or quotation you have asked for; and
- keep a record of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.
We process this information because you asked us to respond to your enquiry, because you gave your consent on the form, and because we have a legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. These are lawful grounds for processing under POPIA.
5. How long we keep it
The website itself does not store your enquiry. Enquiry emails are kept in our mailbox for up to 24 months after our last contact with you and then deleted. If you become a client, we keep our correspondence for as long as the working relationship and our legal record-keeping obligations require.
6. Security
The website is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and sanitised on the server, and access credentials for email delivery are kept in secure server configuration rather than in the website code. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable, appropriate measures to protect your information.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct or delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent; and
- lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

8. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
