The scenario

Imagine a regional logistics operator whose dispatchers juggle phone calls, a GPS portal and spreadsheets to know where vehicles are and which deliveries are at risk. The brief: one clear, live view of the whole operation.

  • Consolidate vehicle, route and delivery status into a single live dashboard
  • Surface late or at-risk deliveries automatically
  • Give managers daily and weekly performance summaries without manual reporting

    Map the dispatcher’s day

    Identify the decisions dispatchers make and the information each one requires.

    Event-driven backend

    A Node.js service ingests telematics and delivery events into PostgreSQL.

    Focused interface

    A React dashboard prioritising exceptions over noise, with keyboard shortcuts for power users.
